Woman reveals how she got brutal revenge on neighbor who stole all her parcels from her doorstep

A woman has revealed the clever way she got back at her neighbor after weeks of having her parcels stolen, executing a carefully planned act of petty revenge that quickly went viral.

The 29-year-old, who shared her story on Reddit, explained that she lives in a mid-sized apartment building where deliveries are usually dropped directly outside residents’ doors.

For the first year, everything went smoothly, but that changed when a new neighbor moved into the unit directly across the hall. The woman, whom she nicknamed “Cassie,” immediately gave off what she described as “entitled vibes.” Cassie wore high heels constantly, often spoke loudly on speakerphone in shared spaces, and, as it turned out, had a habit of swiping parcels that weren’t hers.

At first, the Redditor thought she was imagining things. Packages that showed up as “delivered” in tracking updates would mysteriously disappear before she could collect them. Smaller items like books or skincare products went missing, and she chalked it up to the occasional “porch pirate” sneaking into the building. To be safe, she started sending more valuable orders to her workplace.

But one day, while working from home, she heard a delivery driver leave a package, received the “delivered” notification, and went to her door only to find nothing. As she stepped outside, she heard the door to Cassie’s apartment clicking shut. Suspicion turned into certainty.

To prove it, she ordered a cheap $6 pair of earrings and installed a discreet motion-activated peephole camera. Just minutes after the package was dropped off, the camera captured Cassie emerging, glancing around, and quickly snatching the box. Now armed with video evidence, the woman considered confronting her neighbor but decided a little creative payback would be far more satisfying.

Over the next three weeks, she began ordering a series of unusual, inexpensive packages designed to embarrass or frustrate Cassie. Among them were a glitter bomb, a fake pregnancy test that always showed positive, a box labeled “Live Crickets – Handle With Care” (though it was empty), a spring-loaded confetti device, a book titled So You’ve Decided to Become a Sugar Baby, and even a tube labeled as hemorrhoid cream. Each item cost less than $10, and each time, Cassie took the bait without hesitation.

The glitter bomb seemed to strike the hardest. One afternoon, the Redditor overheard Cassie angrily yelling through the wall during a phone call, complaining that the mystery packages were “not funny anymore.” Soon after, Cassie stopped taking parcels left in the hallway altogether.

Two weeks later, the building’s management sent a notice to all residents announcing that CCTV cameras would soon be installed due to repeated complaints. This confirmed for the Redditor that Cassie wasn’t only targeting her but likely other tenants as well.

Since then, her deliveries have all arrived without issue. Cassie avoids making eye contact, and the Redditor still has the videos saved in case her neighbor ever decides to try again.

“Revenge level: petty. Satisfaction level: 100,” she concluded, which was clearly echoed by thousands of amused readers who praised her for turning the tables with such creativity.
