Zoombombers hack virtual court hearing and share Pornhub clips
In an ironic turn of events, Zoombombers hacked a virtual court hearing of a teenager accused of hacking high-profile Twitter accounts - including those of Elon Musk and Barack Obama - on July 15th.
This resulted in Pornhub clips and music being unceremoniously played during the hearing on Wednesday when the hackers entered the call pretending to be employees of the news outlets CNN and the BBC.

Attorneys were in the process of filing a motion to lower the $725,000 bond to an amount that Graham Clark, 17, would be able to pay as he is accused of stealing a fraction of the bond - $117,000.
WFLA reports that Judge Christopher Nash said after a Pornhub clip was shown: "I'll apologize to everybody for that display. I was removing people as quickly as I could."
"How the judge in charge of the proceeding didn't think to enable settings that would prevent people from taking over the screen is beyond me," he wrote. "My guess is he didn’t know he could."
The hearing was closed by the judge for approximately 10 minutes, however, when it was reopened it was interrupted once again - this time, by loud music.
Brian Krebs, an investigative journalist who covers cyber-crime, security, and privacy, wrote on Twitter that the judge failed to enable the settings which would have prevented people from taking over the screen.

Clark, of Tampa, Florida, has pled not guilty to hacking celebrities, politicians, and business leaders in July, which resulted in 30 felony counts of fraud.
He is accused of hacking the Twitter accounts to obtain cryptocurrency, and it is believed that he did so by redirecting the money to himself, accumulating over $100,000 in just hours.
Darrell Dirks, the Hillsborough County Assistant State Attorney prosecuting the case, said, "The $117,000 represents the loss that we know of at least at this point, regarding the fraudulent Bitcoin solicitation that was made on allegedly on behalf of internationally know and famous people."

The request to lower Clark's bond was ultimately denied, and the judge has said that the next court appearance will be a "password-protected" Zoom conference.
The case's next virtual hearing is scheduled to take place on October 7.
