Donald Trump Jr. shares bizarre video of his father emerging from Joe Biden's turkey
Donald Trump Jr. has marked the Thanksgiving holiday by sharing a bizarre video of his father emerging from a turkey being carved by President Joe Biden... seriously.
The 43-year-old shared the clip with his 7.1 million Twitter followers on Thanksgiving Thursday, simply captioning the tweet: "You’re welcome. Happy Thanksgiving."
The video shows the famous turkey scene from the beloved 1983 movie National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation - but rather than showing Clark Griswold cutting into the deflating bird, the video has been edited to show President Biden doing the carving.
Around the table, the faces of other characters have been replaced to show Democratic figures like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the First Lady of the United States, Jill Biden.
As Biden cuts into the turkey, he says Griswold's famous line: "If this turkey tastes half as good as it looks, I think we’re all in for a very big treat."
However, rather than the turkey deflating, former president Donald Trump emerges, doing his signature dance to the Village People's 'YMCA'.
I won't lie to you, it makes for a deeply unsettling watch - regardless of your political standing.
What's more, despite amassing over 530,000 views, it's also rather confusing the point Trump Jr. is trying to make. I guess it's that Trump is somewhat haunting the Bidens over the holiday season? Or maybe that Trump's dancing is as much of a treat as a juicy turkey? Either way, people on Twitter were just as confused by the clip.
One Twitter user replied: "The comedy here is that you’re sharing this unironically."
A second person asked: "Who exactly do you think you're dragging right now?"
"It took me over a minute to realize that Junior actually thinks this makes his father look good," added a third.
Other social media users were reminded of Thanksgiving 2020, which saw then-President Trump sat at a seemingly very small table:
Trump Jr. would take another shot at Biden, this time sharing an edited photo of the POTUS carrying a turkey alongside the words: "Merry Christmas".
He captioned this tweet: "Well close enough Joe."
Get it? Because it was actually Thanksgiving...
