On Monday (December 14), Fox News presenter Tucker Carlson hit headlines after diminishing Jill Biden's 'Dr' title in an explosive on-air rant.
And the controversial host has once again taken aim at the future First Lady of the United States, in yet another scathing attack.
Carlson's first tirade came in response to a December 11 Wall Street Journal Op-Ed, in which writer Joseph Epstein argued that, despite Dr. Biden having a doctorate in education from the University of Delaware, she should "drop the doc" as the title "feels fraudulent".

Epstein wrote:
"Madame First Lady—Mrs. Biden—Jill—kiddo: a bit of advice on what may seem like a small but I think is a not unimportant matter. Any chance you might drop the 'Dr.' before your name?
"Dr. Jill Biden sounds and feels fraudulent, not to say a touch comic. Your degree is, I believe, an Ed.D., a doctor of education, earned at the University of Delaware through a dissertation with the unpromising title 'Student Retention at the Community College Level: Meeting Students' Needs'.
"A wise man once said that no one should call himself 'Dr.' unless he has delivered a child. Think about it, Dr. Jill, and forthwith drop the doc."
In his original outburst, Carlson stated that Biden, 69, is "a doctor of education, which means basically nothing."

"Jill Biden is not a doctor, no. Maybe in the same sense Dr Pepper is," he added. "In 2007, at the age of 55, she got a doctorate in education, so she's got the same degree as Dr Bill Cosby."
Convicted sex offender Bill Cosby received a doctorate in education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1976.
Now, Carlson has once again taken aim at Dr Biden - bizarrely pointing out that "she wouldn't know what to do with your appendix", before going on to tear into her doctorate thesis.

After clarifying that Biden is not a "healer" (because, apparently, that has been confusing people), Carlson announced that he had reviewed a thesis written by Dr Biden for a doctoral degree in education.
Per The Independent, Biden was awarded the achievement from Delaware University in 2007.
The host then went on to claim that the dissertation features several typos and inconsistencies, adding that sections of it "seem to be written in a foreign language in English words" and are "pure nonsense".
Carlson added: "The whole thing is just incredibly embarrassing and not simply to poor, illiterate Jill Biden, but to the college that considered this crap scholarship, embarrassing in fact to our entire system of higher education, to the nation itself."
The Fox host then poked fun at the criticism he has received throughout the week, telling viewers: "Whatever you do, do not make fun of it," he said. "If you dare to notice that Dr Jill isn't a supergenius, you hate all women. You're a dangerous misogynist."
Carlson's comments come as the US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris spoke out in defense of Dr Biden, saying that it is unpatriotic to disrespect her hard work.

Speaking about the issue on Good Morning America, Harris addressed Epstein's article, saying: "I was deeply disappointed that in 2020, that kind of approach would be given any legitimacy."
Harris then told host Robin Roberts in Wednesday's interview: "She worked hard. She raised her kids. She went to night school. She got degrees. She earned everything she has.
"That’s the American way; that’s the American spirit. So, when there’s anyone who tries to diminish the significance of people who work hard, I think it’s just not the American way, frankly."

Dr. Biden, 69, has also appeared to indirectly respond to the original Wall Street Journal article in question on Twitter.

She wrote: "Together, we will build a world where the accomplishments of our daughters will be celebrated, rather than diminished."
