According to the “Walt Disney World: Active Calls” account on X, the incident was reported at 3:18PM that day, with an update stating that the individual had died just minutes later.
While Disney and the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office have not released the identity of the deceased or provided further details, the tragic event follows a series of unrelated deaths at various Disney resorts.

A Chilling Trend: Deaths at Multiple Disney Resorts
The series of deaths began on October 14, when 31-year-old Disney superfan Summer Equitz was found dead at the Contemporary Resort. The Orange County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed to People that her death was a suicide, caused by multiple blunt impact injuries.
Equitz, who had traveled to Disney World from Illinois, had arrived alone during her honeymoon, and her passing left her family shocked and heartbroken.
Just days later, on October 21, another guest at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground was found dead after suffering a medical episode.
The 60-year-old man, who had been traveling with his wife, was found unresponsive at their campsite. While the cause of death was not immediately clear, the man had a history of hypertension and end-stage liver disease, per the Daily Mail.
Tragedy struck again on October 23, when 28-year-old aspiring NFL referee Matthew Alec Cohn died by suicide at the Contemporary Resort, the same hotel where Equitz had passed just days earlier. Cohn jumped from a balcony at the hotel, marking the third death in just under two weeks.
The fourth death occurred on November 2, when a woman in her 40s was found unresponsive at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, The New York Post reported.
The budget hotel, known for its bold and nostalgic decor, is connected to Epcot and Hollywood Studios via the Skyliner gondola system. The woman was later pronounced dead at the hospital, with no signs of foul play, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

A Fifth Death Adds to the Tragedy
The latest fatality, reported at Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, adds to this tragic trend.
The Victorian-style resort, which offers luxurious accommodations such as studio and multi-bedroom villas, is located near Disney Springs. Guests often enjoy the serene environment, including pools, a spa, and beautiful golf course views.
However, the recent death casts a somber shadow over this picturesque location.
