Newly released documents from the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein saga show the FBI received a bizarre tip‑off in August 2020 suggesting there was hidden evidence of wrongdoing involving Epstein and Prince Andrew.
According to the file, the informant claimed they had information about “hidden” recordings stored in a secret place at Epstein’s home in the Bahamas — and traced the tip back to an IP address in Finland.
Secret Tapes and Hidden Compartments in the Bahamas Mansion
The note is labelled “Federal Bureau of Investigation Official Record” and alleges an extraordinary scenario, per Metro.
It states: “Pedophilia organized by JE for Prince Andrew. For evidence: look for keys stored in the drawing room. There are tapes in a secret compartment of a drawer next to a Michelangelo picture of a flower vase at his house in the Bahamas.”
The message didn’t stop there. It went on to point agents toward other areas of the property and even other locations around the world: “Look also for other things in the kitchen. There is also another studio apartment in the Bahamas and in Ipanema, Brazil, and Florianopolis, Brazil.”
On the FBI’s own form, the informant claimed the alleged criminal enterprise involving “Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of the UK” had been running for 15 years.
It remains unclear whether the FBI ever pursued this specific information or if any of it had merit.
Andrew, now officially Andrew Mountbatten‑Windsor, has consistently denied any inappropriate conduct connected to his relationship with Epstein.
Despite persistent rumors and repeated media attention over the years, he has rejected suggestions of illegal behavior.
Massive Wave of Epstein File Releases
In recent weeks, the US Department of Justice has released hundreds of thousands of pages of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, feeding renewed public interest in the case.
Among the more eyebrow‑raising disclosures was an email exchange from August 2001.
In a message signed simply “A xxx” and sent from an address that identified itself as “The Invisible Man,” the sender wrote to convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell: “I am up here at Balmoral Summer Camp for the Royal Family.
"How’s LA? Have you found me some new inappropriate friends?
"Let me know when you are coming over as I am free from 25th August until 2nd Sept and want to go somewhere hot and sunny with some fun people before having to put my nose firmly to the grindstone for the Fall.”
Sky News has concluded that the person identified as “A” in the message is Andrew.
The full context of the exchange remains unclear, and there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing implied by the email itself.
Epstein Files Include Unsettling Photograph Of Andrew
Among the images made public in the latest batch of files was a photograph — an undated snapshot captured in a broken frame — showing Andrew sprawled across the laps of five women.
Also visible in the background of the photo was Ghislaine Maxwell, smiling broadly.
Andrew’s public profile was dramatically weakened in 2019 after a disastrous interview on BBC’s 'Newsnight', during which he tried to address his friendship with Epstein and failed to convince large swaths of the public.
Since then, scrutiny has only intensified.
The release of Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir and this latest tranche of Epstein documents triggered further controversy, culminating in King Charles officially stripping his brother of both his HRH style and his prince title.
