Dog the Bounty Hunter has responded to the findings of Gabby Petito's autopsy.
The TV personality, whose real name is Duane Chapman, joined the nationwide manhunt for Brian Laundrie when he arrived at the home of the 23-year-old's parents, Christopher and Roberta on September 25 and tried to speak to them.
In the time that has passed since then, Petito's exact cause of death has been made known.
Her death, a homicide, was caused by strangulation, Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue confirmed at a press conference on Tuesday, October 12.
"We hereby find the cause and manner of death to be, the cause, death by strangulation, and manner is homicide," Dr. Blue stated, per The New York Times. "By Wyoming state statute, no other information will be released about the autopsy."
It also emerged that the 22-year-old blogger's body had been in the wilderness for up to four weeks before it was found on September 19.
Responding to the grim findings, Chapman said it has "established a timeline that looks worse for Brian Laundrie."
He said in a statement: "His continued evasion of law enforcement makes him look guilty. I can’t fathom how Brian’s parents can live with themselves after how they’ve stonewalled the Petito family. They need to be doing more to signal Brian to stop running."
Earlier this week, it was reported that Chapman was temporarily exiting the search for Laundrie, a person of interest in the homicide, to treat an ankle injury.
According to a tweet by Chapman's daughter, Lyssa Chapman, he headed back home to Colorado earlier this week.
Meanwhile, authorities are still trying to locate Laundrie, who has been missing for a month.
The 23-year-old fugitive was Petito's fiancé and together, the pair had embarked on a cross-country road trip this past summer. However, this trip ended early, with Laundrie arriving back solo to the Florida home he had shared with both Petito and his parents.
Weeks later, her remains were discovered in Teton County, Wyoming, but by that point, Laundrie had gone missing himself.
He has not been charged in connection with the homicide but he has been charged with allegedly spending money on a debit card he was not authorized to use.
