Ryan Breaux, the 18-year-old brother of musician Frank Ocean, has tragically passed away in a car crash, The Independent has reported.
Reports state that Breaux was in a Tesla car that veered off Westlake Boulevard in Thousand Oaks, California in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 2).
Deputies from Ventura County Sheriff’s Department arrived on the scene and found the car in flames. Breaux and another occupant of the car were pronounced dead at the scene by the local fire department.

While investigations into the crash were reportedly ongoing, an initial investigation suggested that the car appeared to have veered off the road and struck a tree in the center median.

"Deputies responded to a call of smoke in the area around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning near Skelton Canyon Circle. Friends confirmed to CBS2/KCAL9 that the victims were Ryan Breaux and Ezekial "Zeek" Bishop. A memorial was held nearby tonight."

Tributes to Breaux flooded in on social media in the wake of the tragic news.

Paris Brosnan, the son of Pierce Brosnan, wrote a lengthy and heartfelt tribute to Breaux on Instagram.
"To my brother, who was talented beyond belief, possessed a heart of gold, had an energy that was infectious, a smile & laugh that lifted everyone’s spirit, and was a loyal and authentic friend to anyone he knew," reads a portion of the message.
"You were just getting started and ready to show the world who you were."
