Bryson DeChambeau is back with another seemingly impossible viral challenge involving his house, his golf skills, and - this time around - a spectacular prize for his followers.
The two-time major winner and golf’s content creator king is now attempting to chip a ping pong ball into a tiny cup on another level of his mansion.
But, sitting in the background of his latest video is a bright yellow $325,000 sports car, which will soon belong to one lucky viewer.
Bryson DeChambeau is back with another viral challenge
Explaining his challenge online to his 1.9m TikTok followers, the 2020 and 2024 US Open champion said: “This is day one of trying to get this ping pong ball into this shot cup.”
Then, seemingly realizing the magnitude of the challenge, he said: “Man, that barely fits…”
But, if anyone is equal to a challenge like this, it’s DeChambeau.
The 31-year-old has become something of a social media sensation in recent times, even taking to the course with US President Donald Trump - who we will have to assume wasn't cheating, despite some allegations.
But his most famous recent challenge saw him attempting to get a hole-in-one over his house, and that took him a while.
This challenge has a bit more riding on it for the viewers, as he went on to outline.
“You may be wondering why this Bentley is parked in my living room,” Bryson continued.
“Well, that’s because once I make this impossible shot I’ll be going on Instagram Live the next day to give this car away to one random lucky person.
“Since this is day one, and this challenge is way harder than the last, I’m starting with 10 shots - here we go.”
It wasn’t to be on day one, but that's good news for viewers
His 10 shots were wide of the mark today - still a lot closer than most mere mortals - but that could spell more good news for lucky fans.
Around the shot cup is a yellow area called ‘The Zone’ that triggers more prizes.
Bryson added: “By the way, if I land it in the zone, there’s going to be $100 credit that we’re going to give to one lucky person by using code Bryson and signing up [to fantasy pick site Underdog].”
So, day one was a failure, but by the looks of things, Bryson is just tuning up, and it won’t be long until he completes this new challenge.
“Bro is so good he puts back spin on a ping pong ball,” read one comment.
“Here we go again, and I’m so excited,” said a second viewer.
Throwing it forward to a significant event next month, a third commenter wrote: “Bryson - we have a Ryder Cup to win so hurry up! But, I’m also here for the content so let’s go.”
If anyone can tune up for one of the biggest golf events on the planet by chipping ping pong balls onto an upstairs balcony, it’s Bryson DeChambeau.
Let's hope he doesn't go as wayward as Tiger Woods did with this shot at the 2024 Masters, which Bryson was leading at the time.
