Prince Harry's latest memoir reportedly reveals the final words he said to his beloved grandma, Queen Elizabeth II, on her death bed.
The prince's upcoming memoir, Spare, is set to be released on January 10, with excerpts of the book already being reported by publications all over the world. If recent headlines are anything to go by, the memoir promises a number of bombshell allegations that are set to rock the British monarchy.
These include the 38-year-old's claims that he killed 25 Taliban fighters in Afghanistan and the allegation that he was physically attacked by his older brother, Prince William.
The memoir - named after the aristocratic tradition of having a "spare" to succeed to the throne should the first heir be unable to - was accidentally put on sale in Spain this week, days before its January 10 release. Unsurprisingly, numerous outlets managed to get their hands on a copy - leaking several bombshell revelations.
One, in particular, was what the father-of-two apparently said to his grandmother, the late Queen, as she lay on her deathbed.
The former British monarch sadly passed away at the age of 96 on September 8, 2022, after ruling over 32 sovereign states during her 70-year reign.
Sadly, Harry arrived at Her Majesty's side several hours after she had passed. In his memoir, he wrote that he whispered to his deceased grandmother that he "hoped she would be happy", per Page Six, and that she would be with her husband Prince Philip, who passed the year before at the age of 99.
He then added that he left the room, calling Meghan to let her know that he'd arrived safely.

At the time of her passing, Page Six reported that Harry had found out about his grandmother's death via the press, rather than from members of the Royal Family.
Fortunately, both Harry and Meghan had already been in Europe promoting the Invictus Games, and the pair eventually reunited with Prince William and Kate Middleton for the first time in over six months to pay tribute to the late monarch at Windsor Castle.
Elsewhere in the memoir, Harry claims that he William had a violent altercation several years prior. As previously reported, Harry wrote that the pair had become embroiled in an argument at his and Meghan's home in 2019. William had allegedly called Meghan "rude," which Harry told his brother was simply a "parrot[ing]" of a false narrative.

As William was apparently "piping hot," Harry tried to calm his brother down by offering him a glass of water. Harry writes that William became irate: "He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me.
"It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out."
William allegedly told his brother not to say anything to Meghan, however she eventually discovered what had happened after seeing Harry's "scratches and bruises."
