Nobody recognized Mick Jagger when he grabbed a beer at local bar night before Rolling Stones concert

Mick Jagger went completely unnoticed when he headed out to a local bar the night before a Rolling Stones concert in North Carolina.

The Rolling Stones frontman posted a picture of himself with a beer at the Thirsty Beaver on Thursday, captioned: "Out and about last night in Charlotte, NC."

In the photo, the musician is wearing a baseball cap and sipping his drink while several people chat behind him.

The Rolling Stones had a concert scheduled for Charlotte's Bank of America Stadium the next day, but even still, Jagger didn't cause a stir at the bar, NBC News reports.

According to a local reporter, Jagger went largely "unnoticed" during his outing at the Thirsty Beaver.

What's more, people in the photo had tickets to the Rolling Stones show at Bank of America Stadium Thursday night, and still didn't notice.

And Brian Wilson, co-owner of the saloon, confirmed to The Charlotte Observer that Jagger kept a low profile while drinking. "He was in here and then he was gone," Wilson said.

The co-owner also said that they had no advance notice that Jagger would show up — and that the bartender who served him didn't even realize Jagger was a rock legend.

"C'mon, Hayley, the greatest rock 'n' roll legend of all time?" Wilson said of his bartender's missed opportunity.

The compact bar is surrounded on three sides by multi-floor apartment buildings. The owners of the bar wouldn't sell when developers came to build them, so they had to build around it, according to local reports.

Jagger later shared a clip from the concert in Charlotte on Twitter, writing: "Troubles A Comin' gets an outing.. Thanks for being such a great audience Charlotte!"

The Rolling Stones have been paying tribute to Charlie Watts, their drummer who died in August, during their current tour.

The legendary drummer of the rock band The Rolling Stones, last month died at the age of 80.
