Michael Bublé has shared a heartwarming post on his son's eighth birthday following the youngster's battle with cancer..
The 45-year-old Canadian singer revealed back in 2016 that his son, Noah, had been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma - a form of liver cancer - at the age of three.
While Noah - whom Bublé shares with wife Luisana Lopilato - was undergoing treatment, the singer took a two-year hiatus from his career in the music industry. Fortunately, Noah was given the all-clear the following year and has recently celebrated his eighth birthday.
Celebrating the big day with his 2.6 million Instagram followers, Bublé shared two sweet snaps of him and Noah - one from when he was a baby and a more recent pic. The singer accompanied the photos with the following caption:
"Today my hero turns 8!
"I’ve never met anyone as brave…
"I’ve never known anyone as kind or as good-hearted…
"And I’ll never truly be able to express how proud I am, or how deep and profound Mommy’s and my love is for you.
"You’ve blessed our lives in every way. We hope God blesses you on your special day.
"Happy Birthday, Noah B"
The heartwarming post has amassed over 280,000 'likes' in 24 hours, with many of the singer's followers taking to the comments section to share their birthday messages to Noah.
"Happy birthday Noah you have always been so special to many of us who have prayed for you. I’m so glad that you’re healthy & happy and I’m sure a great big brother," wrote one supporter.
Another Bublé fan shared the following story: "I remember meeting you years ago in Miami Design District. I was working valet and you left your black Mercedes Metris with me.
"You then took time to speak to me because I asked you for a picture together to which you denied. The 3 minute conversation as to why, I would always remember. You mentioned that your son had health issues and asked me to pray for him. I did so, a few times. I’m glad he’s okay now! I’m glad God healed him."
Bublé has two other children with wife Luisana - five-year-old son Elias and three-year-old daughter Vida.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2 about his making his return to the stage in 2019, the singer said: "My first show back, I played Croke and I cried for like two hours afterwards."
"It was too emotional for me. I was too happy. Noah is great, thank God," he added.
