Lupita Nyong'o is being applauded for her body positivity post on social media.
The 39-year-old actress took to Instagram to display her striking figure and showed a side-by-side comparison of how she looked at the start and end of her Italian vacation.
The Black Panther star, who attended Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda fashion show in Rome last week, wrote in the caption: "From Summer Body to Pasta Body in one week! I love them both!"
Nyong'o also added the hashtags "Enjoy your body," "Body bonding," "Life in play," "Back to work," "No filter" and "Ciao Italia."
After sharing the pictures with her 9.4 million followers on the social media platform, many fans praised Nyong'o for sharing her relatable experience.
Akothee, a Kenyan musician, wrote: "Thank you for addressing my insecurities. I equally feel like s*** after, I can't flaunt my [six packs] they are one parked now with pizza"

Despite being on holiday, the Oscar-winning actress has been keeping fit and working hard on her "summer body" and shared a video of her doing an "after wine" workout.
Nyong'o looked dedicated to her rigorous exercise regime while in Sicily and captioned the video: "After the wine is [a] workout. #vacationfitnessisathing."
The US actress was also in Atlantic City on Sunday (July 17) where she surprised 40 NAACP youth members who were the recipients of $10,000 scholarships.
The Write Her Future Scholarship Fund is sponsored by beauty brand Lancôme, where Nyong'o works as a brand ambassador. The program focuses on helping women through educational means, as well as mentoring and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Per Daily Mail, the 355 actress said in a statement: "Since I was a child, I have always had big dreams, and my education has played a huge part in helping me realize them. I've always loved learning and I believe that learners change the world."
