Lisa Kudrow teased a new twist to the Friends reunion show during an interview to promote her new Netflix comedy Space Force.
The highly-anticipated Friends reunion was announced back in February, when Deadline reported that the original cast had reached an agreement with HBO and Warner Bros.
The stars are set to appear in an hour-long reunion special, and each actor is being paid approximately $4 million to return.
Even though the filming of the special has been delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic, Kudrow said that the cast was committed to it happening.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Kudrow said: "It's definitely going to happen. [The planning] was pretty far along, but it seemed pretty clear that if people can't gather then we can't do it."
When Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay in the hit show, was asked if the reunion show would be scripted or not, she said: "There are other things in it. There are other things to it; things I shouldn't really talk about because they should be good - but those things can't happen [right now]. We just decided on another date and we'll see if we can do it then."

The Friends reunion was originally scheduled to air on May 27 to coincide with the launch of the new US streaming platform HBO Max. However, the coronavirus pandemic forced filming studios around the world to close, delaying a show that fans have been waiting for since the last Friends episode aired in 2004.
"It is definitely going to happen," Kudrow reiterated. "We just keep putting dates in the calendar. When we can do it, we will do it."
This comes after Kurdow delighted her fans in lockdown by sharing a video of herself watching back her old TV shows using HBO Max.
