Kate Middleton is reportedly "so upset" over the mockery of Prince George at the Euro 2020 final that she may not release a birthday picture of him.
A royal expert made the revelation ahead of Prince George turning eight next Thursday (July 22) - an event which is typically marked by his mother releasing a new photograph of him, as per the Mirror.
These photographs have traditionally featured Prince George having fun by, for example, riding a bike.
But the seven-year-old has recently been subject to a barrage of online criticism after he attended a number of Euro 2020 games and wore a shirt and tie like his father, Prince William.

Royal biographer Angela Levin has now said that this could put William and Kate off releasing a new photograph of the future king.
In an interview with True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, she said: "There are rumors that we might not see the photograph (of Prince George) when he's eight, because they've been so upset by the rudeness of people mocking a little boy aged seven, and I hope they can overcome that."
However, contrary to Levin's opinion, the Sunday Times royal correspondent, Roya Nikkah, disagreed.
She added: "I reckon they will put one out."

As per the Mirror, Royal expert Robert Jobson said: "With George, he got quite a lot of social media attention.
"Some were critical about him wearing a shirt and tie like this dad, which I thought was very harsh.
"He has been very popular, but I think they are going to try and keep him out of the limelight a little bit.
"They are very conscious of that. The pictures were great with his dad when he was celebrating for that all too brief moment."
However, despite the criticism Prince George has faced, his reaction to this goal at the Euro 2020 final has been melting some hearts online.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe told OK magazine: "Prince William is George's absolute hero. He thinks his dad’s the most perfect person on the planet.
"George idolizes his dad. That's why we saw him looking so smart in his suit - he really wanted to dress like William."
