Tom Cruise might have made a name for himself by doing all his own stunts, but the actor has recently proven that he won't put his or other people's health at risk unnecessarily.
This happened when the actor decided to wear two masks instead of one while greeting fans on the set of Mission Impossible 7 in Rome, Italy.
The wearing of masks is regarded to be one of the best safety measures people can take during the ongoing pandemic, according to the CDC recommendations.
Cruise opted to wear a traditional blue surgical mask and black, fabric one in pictures taken of the incident.

Cruise said hello to his fans in between takes and that was when he decided to be more careful than most by wearing two masks.
The actor was surrounded by production crew as he worked alongside his co-star Hayley Atwell, 38, and they were spotted filming a scene that saw them both chained to a steering wheel.

However, this is not the first time that the actor has delighted fans by greeting them as he works on the film, and last month, he waved at passersby while on top of a moving train.
In footage of the scene, the 58-year-old actor put his legs over the side of the train, having stepped back into Ethan Hunt's shoes; a character he first portrayed back in 1996.

The scene was brought to life by the movie's writer Christopher McQuarrie, whose credits also include Jack Reacher (2012), Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015), and Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018).
Captioning the image, he said: "Norway's scale and beauty have left an indelible and defining imprint on our film and reminded us that anything is possible."
As has been the case for the majority of films and TV shows, the production of the film was suspended because of the ongoing pandemic, but filming began again in September.
When it did, Cruise wowed crowds of onlookers and phones as he drove off a 1,246-metre Helsetkopen mountain in Stranda on a motorbike.

In an interview with NRK, onlooker Ole Arnstein Ringdal revealed that Cruise drove off the mountain an impressive four times.
He added: "After the third jump, he came over and talked to us from a distance of twenty meters. He loves nature here, and is very grateful for the hospitality he has experienced."
All being well, Mission: Impossible 7 will drop on 19 November 2021, and the eighth installment is set to be released roughly a year later on 4 November 2022.
