William Shatner has spoken out after rumors that he was rushed to hospital for a medical emergency.
The 94-year-old - who continues to work to this day - shared a typically humorous message to his fans, putting their mind at ease about his health.
It had been reported that he was taken to the hospital for his blood sugar, but the Star Trek star has since cleared the matter up.
William Shatner is still working even at 94-years-old
Shatner, who is beloved by fans of Star Trek and spoken word alike, was said to have experienced some complications with his health while at his home in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
According to TMZ, he was taken to a hospital for tests, although this claim was later denied by Shatner’s agency, Talent Works, as reported by ABC News.

Still, where some people might be annoyed at that, Shatner wore it well and even managed to crack a joke about his rumoured health problems.
“Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated,” he posted on Instagram this Thursday.
Offering a bit of an insight into what might have happened, the star added: “I over indulged.
“I thank you all for caring but I’m perfectly fine.”
That’s good news, then.
At least he’s fine and feeling well - we’ve all overindulged at times, haven’t we?
Shatner also added: “I keep telling you all: don’t trust tabloids or AI.”

Shatner has never lost his sense of humor
Despite his advancing years, and when many would have put their feet up, Shatner continues to work and work hard.
He has several acting jobs on the go, and even appeared at a fan event recently, participating in a panel event at Dragon Con in Atlanta last month.
He has had his health problems though, battling stage four melanoma just around a year ago.
Luckily for everyone, the condition was treated.
He has also been diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2016, although it turned out to be a misdiagnosis.

Speaking about that horrible incident, Shatner recalled: “That was really scary,
“I was told by a doctor I had a terminal disease. That I was going to die.”
Thankfully, it appeared to be down to a testosterone supplement that the star was taking, which he has now stopped using.
Shatner is probably best known for his work as Captain James T. Kirk in. The original Star Trek, but he has also featured in a number of other TV and Film roles including T.J. Hooker and Miss Congeniality.
