Sophie Turner is making it clear that she won't tolerate online trolls targeting her parenting. After being accused of "forgetting" her children, following her split from Joe Jonas, the Game of Thrones actress responded with a sharp retort that shut down the baseless criticism.
Turner and Jonas, who had been married for four years, announced their divorce in 2023. They share two daughters, Willa, who is four, and Delphine, who is two.

The announcement came amid a turbulent period, as the couple engaged in a high-profile custody battle. Turner took legal action against Jonas, invoking parental child abduction laws, to prevent him from keeping their children in the U.S.
In a recent post, Turner shared images from her visit to an Oasis concert, where she was seen enjoying herself with friends.
One photo captured Turner wearing a bucket hat and sipping beer, while another showed her playfully leaning in to kiss a portrait of Liam Gallagher, the lead singer of the iconic British rock band. The post also indicated it was part of a paid collaboration with Levi’s.
However, this seemingly lighthearted moment did not sit well with one online critic, who wrote in the comments, “Lmfao - I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.”

Turner quickly hit back with a witty and unapologetic response, saying, “Ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves.” She continued, “So… Get this… There’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”
This exchange highlights Turner’s frustration with the constant public scrutiny she faces, particularly when it comes to her role as a mother. Following her divorce, Turner moved back to the UK with her children, while she and Jonas continue to share custody of their daughters.
Despite the challenges in her personal life, Turner has also been enjoying a new chapter. She recently went public with her new boyfriend, British aristocrat Peregrine "Perry" Pearson, the heir to the 4th Viscount Cowdray and a wealthy bachelor with a reported net worth of £224 million.
In a 2024 interview with Harper's Bazaar, Turner shared how happy she is to be back in the UK, calling it a place where she feels most like herself. She mentioned the six years she spent in the U.S., during which significant moments, such as her pregnancy, occurred without her close-knit group of friends being there for her. "I just never really feel like myself when I’m not in London, with my friends and family," she said.
As for Jonas, he has publicly praised Turner as a mother, describing their coparenting relationship as one to be grateful for. During a Jay Shetty On Purpose appearance in May 2025, he spoke highly of Turner, saying, “I have a beautiful coparenting relationship that I'm really grateful for. Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.”

Jonas added, “As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them. I think what values I want for them are to be open-minded and have a big heart, be able to walk into any room and feel confidence and know that they can do literally anything they want.”
Turner and Jonas' divorce might have been a painful chapter, but both seem focused on co-parenting their children and moving forward with their respective lives. Turner, in particular, is clearly unbothered by the trolls who attempt to drag her down, making it clear that her priorities are her kids and her well-being.
