Mia Khalifa posted a video from surgery after being hit by an 80mph hockey puck that 'deflated her boob'

Former adult star Mia Khalifa opened up about a painful injury she suffered while watching a game of hockey.

The 32-year-old previously opened up about the horrifying accident that occurred during the NHL playoffs in 2018 that resulted in her needing surgery.

Khalifa had shared a photo at the time, showing her standing in the viewing area for the Washington Capitals game against the Tampa Bay Lightning during a play-off tie in the Stanley Cup and holding a puck, while clutching her breast in pain.

She told her followers: "Also, I got hit in the boob with a puck during the game, and I’m 80% sure it ruptured an implant.

"But the good news is, I got a game used puck from a Capitals Stanley cup playoff game. Worth it."

The former adult entertainer later went on to confirm that her fears were correct and that she needed surgery to fix the damage caused.

She told the Daily Star at the time: "I was sitting behind the glass during a game, and it came shooting over the glass and it caught me so off guard and I had no idea it was coming.

"I grabbed my chest and I didn’t want to let go, because I felt like if I did let go blood was going to be everywhere."

Khalifa speculated that the puck, which she described as "really heavy" may have been flying at around 80MPH when it slammed into her chest.

She added at the time: "My left breast is slightly deflated now and I will be getting it fixed next year."

Khalifa went on to reveal that she'd had to undergo a four-hour "fat grafting" operation in Los Angeles to fix her damaged implant, performed by plastic surgeon expert Dr Jay Calvert.

She shared a snap of her in a post-surgery bra with bandages visible on her hips where fat was grafted from, as she told her followers: "You can say anything you want about me and my decisions, but one thing that no one can argue is my transparency on social media.

"I don’t hide behind filters or make things out to be better than they are. Sometimes things are ugly, and bloody, and boring, and covered in hormonal breakouts, but that is life and I will always embrace it.

"This was my decision behind sharing my surgery journey with @drjaycalvert, I could go on and on about what he did to fix my hockey puck breast injury, but i won’t because I could never be as eloquent as he is, just watch the video for yourself.

"WARNING: Extremely graphic, and not for the faint of heart. We shared as much of the actual surgery as YouTube terms and conditions would allow."

While the video appears to have been removed since, it showed Khalifa going through the consultation before going under the knife.

Thankfully, it seems she's avoided any other unfortunate sports spectating injuries since.
