LAPD cops and helicopters rush to Marilyn Manson's home over concerns for his safety after 11 women accuse him of abuse

LAPD cops and helicopters have rushed to Marilyn Manson's home over concerns for his safety after 11 women accused him of abuse.

According to TMZ, four police cars and an LAPD helicopter were sent to Manson's home at approximately 6.00 pm to check on the 52-year-old musician, after a concerned friend was unable to get in touch with him for several hours and feared for his general welfare.

Per The Daily Mail, a spokesperson for the LAPD has confirmed that officers who arrived on the scene: "[Made] contact with someone and were able to find that there was no evidence of any trouble."

On Monday, January 1, 33-year-old Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood, who was engaged to Manson before their breakup in 2010, shared an official statement with her 911,000 Instagram followers, writing:

"The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson.

"He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission.

"I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him before he ruins more lives.

"I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent."

Manson himself has denied the allegations in an official statement addressed to his 3.6 million followers on Instagram, writing:

"Obviously, my life and my art have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality.

"My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth."

According to Variety, Manson's record label, Loma Vista Recordings, has made the decision to sever ties with the artist as a result of the negative publicity provoked by the accusations.

Per Variety, in an official statement a spokesperson for the company wrote: "In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately.

"Due to these concerning developments, we have also decided not to work with Marilyn Manson on any future projects."

According to Deadline, Starz has also chosen to edit out footage of Manson's performance from an upcoming episode of American Gods.

A spokesperson stated: "Due to the allegations made against Marilyn Manson, we have decided to remove his performance from the remaining episode he is in, scheduled to air later this season. Starz stands unequivocally with all victims and survivors of abuse."

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that Shudder has pulled an episode of the horror anthology series Creepshow which featured Manson from syndication.
