Kim Kardashian deletes raunchy birthday tribute to Kylie after Piers Morgan retweet

Kim Kardashian has taken down her birthday tribute to her sister, Kylie Jenner, after British television personality, Piers Morgan, branded it "weird".

The 39-year-old mother-of-four initially took to Twitter to wish her younger sister a happy 23rd birthday.

"Happy birthday @KylieJenner" she captioned the now-deleted image of her and the beauty mogul showering together, and wearing tiny drenched white t-shirts.

Piers was quick to retweet it and describe it as "weird", and Kim has since deleted the picture.

Piers' retweet was shared over 2.4k times, but it remains unclear whether this is what prompted the reality television star to remove it from her Twitter profile.

Many people commented on the snap, agreeing with Piers, with one writing: "Nothing says happy birthday like a nude photo with my sister.."

Another wrote: "Only a narcissist chooses a photo like this for a birthday message to someone else."

"What's weird? Me and my sister are super close and if somebody paid me thousands and thousands to do shoots like this I wouldn't hesitate," one countered.

A fourth added: "But they’re getting paid thousands and not really showering together! What’s more weird is pictures like this will sell for thousands, who can blame them if it pays the mortgage not like they’re doing anything intimate together!"

In a previous tweet, the controversial personality stated that Kim's recent statement on Kanye West's mental health could have been due to his recent advice.

He wrote: "…It’s good that Kim’s finally decided to speak out about Kanye’s mental illness. (Perhaps my column made her do it?)…"

The reality television star took to her Instagram Stories today (Wednesday, 22nd July) to call for "compassion" and "empathy", as she discussed her husband's bipolar disorder. This follows the rapper posting a slew of tweets that prompted widespread concern.

"As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar [sic] disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand," Kim wrote.

"I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health," the mother-of-four continued.

"Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try."

While the 39-year-old noted that she "understands" that Kanye is "subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions," she added: "He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions."
