Chrissy Teigen speaks out about being in 'Cancel club': 'I feel lost and need to find my place again'

Chrissy Teigen has spoken out about being "canceled" following accusations of bullying behavior.

The 35-year-old model and influencer spoke about her current mental health and mood in a candid Instagram post, which shows her legs as she lounges on a sofa in the home she shares with her husband, John Legend.

In a caption addressed to her 34.9 million followers on the platform, Chrissy stated: "[I] don’t really know what to say here... just feels so weird to pretend nothing happened in this online world but feel like utter s*** in real life."

She continued: "Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race. But I do know that however, I’m handling this now isn’t the right answer.

"I feel lost and need to find my place again, I need to snap out of this, I desperately wanna communicate with you guys instead of pretending everything is okay. I'm not used to any other way!!"

She added: "Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a [whole] lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know [until] you’re in it.

"And it's hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously, you sound whiney when you've clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning. But there never is here anyhow."

Her post clearly resonated with her many fans and followers, racking up over 723,000 reactions and a further 27,000 comments, at the time of writing.

For instance, one person wrote: "Focus out - serve those less fortunate [than] you, volunteer, donate ... you will continue to spin if you are the center of the narrative. Focus on others!"

Another supporter chimed in: "None of us are the worst thing we've done."

Finally, Tess Holiday commented: "You've always shown me nothing but kindness & love & I hope your show yourself the same in return right now."

Tiegen was previously accused of bullying behavior in the past on social media by a number of celebrities, including Courtney Stodden and fashion designer Michael Costello, among others.

Stodden first alleged that Teigen had cyberbullied them in an Instagram post made back in 2020, and added that they had not received an apology from Teigen for this.

They stated: "[Chrissy Teigen] stalked me. She harassed me. She bullied me, and keep in mind, I was a minor. She would call me a w****, a s***, she would tell me she hated me. Every name in the book she called me."

Meanwhile, fashion designer Costello took to his Instagram on June 15 to share his story of how he was "blacklisted" from Hollywood after Teigen falsely accused him of using a racial slur.

Costello shared an alleged conversation between himself and Teigen where he sent her his phone number and wrote: "I am suffering from this more than you can imagine."

In response to this, Teigen allegedly replied: "Good! racist people like you deserve to suffer and die. You might as well be dead. Your career is over, just watch."

Teigen has since apologized publically to Stodden over her treatment of them and claims that Costello faked her allegedly abusive DMs.
