Chrissy Teigen shocked fans by sharing a video showcasing her dramatically swollen lips and nose on Saturday (February 13).
In the clip, which was shared on her Instagram stories, the 35-year-old influencer pointed out her puffy lips and sore nose and admitted she suspected she was suffering from an allergic reaction.

"You’re all just gonna think that I got lip fillers," Teigen said. "But I didn’t get lip fillers between last night and now.
"I bit an orange to try and open it and I think there might have been pesticide on it."
In a follow-up video, which was also shared with her 34 million followers, Teigen can be seen touching her swollen bottom lip to show it had also turned hard and firm.
She later shared a third video revealing that her nose had also swelled up as a direct result of the unfortunate allergic reaction.

This incident comes not long after Teigen opened up about she lost four dental caps for her teeth at once just prior to Joe Biden's inauguration as the 46th President of the United States.
Speaking in a virtual interview on Ellen Degeneres' talk show, Teigen stated that while she, John Legend, and their children Miles and Luna, were in Washington D.C. attending the swearing-in ceremony, the four caps had fallen out of her mouth while she'd been snacking on fruit roll-ups.
When asked by Degeneres about her missing teeth, Teigen stated: "Did I lose a tooth! I lost one tooth there and I lost three teeth here. I lost this tooth and this tooth and this tooth... I had all temporary caps on them and they're all gone.

"In the bubble, there was only one thing you could do, and that was: go to CVS. They had all this Valentine's Day stuff, so I bought mini Fruit Roll-Ups and I had one bite of one and then this one came off.
"You honestly have no idea how important your teeth are until they're gone. Don't take your teeth for granted, because when all four corners are gone, you cannot eat. So I can't eat until the 18th!"
She continued to tell Degeneres that she lost the dental caps in all four corners of her mouth and that eating was extremely painful as a result.

Teigen broke the news of the accident in a video shared with her 13.6 million followers on Twitter on January 21, showing how the dental caps fell off while she was snacking.
When a number of her followers expressed their concern over Teigen's dental health, she clarified in a follow-up tweet that she had only lost her caps, replying to one fan: "[It was a] Cap :( but i loved him like he was a real tooth. [sic]."
