Adult entertainer Angela White has revealed the hilarious (yet surprisingly dangerous) moment she almost injured herself on set after laughing during a solo scene.
The Australian performer, director, and industry veteran was filming a solo scene when things suddenly went wrong in a way she never expected. As she told Australia's Triple M Breakfast radio show, she was in the middle of shooting when the camera operator made her laugh at the worst possible moment, while using a toy.
The unexpected burst of laughter caused the toy to shoot out of her body with surprising force and hit her. White described the incident as both shocking and painful, but ultimately laughed it off after realizing she hadn’t been seriously hurt.
Fans later joked online that it sounded like a “final destination-style accident,” while others praised her for being open about the behind-the-scenes realities of adult film production.
Angela White’s other on-set scare
While the “flying toy” mishap became one of her funniest stories to tell, White has also faced genuinely dangerous moments in her career.
Fellow adult star Keiran Lee once revealed on the Pillow Talk podcast that White suffered a burst appendix during one of their first scenes together. He said he hadn’t realized how sick she was at the time and only found out days later that she had been rushed to hospital in Australia.
“Apparently her appendix burst in the scene, which could have killed her,” he recalled.
Thankfully, White made a full recovery, but it remains one of the scariest moments she’s ever experienced on set.
Why Angela White says communication is key
Beyond the occasional mishap, White has become one of the most respected figures in the industry, known for her professionalism, directing work, and outspoken views on performer safety.
She has often said that good communication between partners (and between performers and directors) is crucial. “Too many men focus on the size of their d**k and not actually the person in front of them,” she once said, stressing that mutual comfort and respect are far more important for good chemistry.
White also pointed out that adult work still carries double standards, with men often celebrated while women face judgment. “When a man goes into porn, he’s seen as a champion,” she said. “When a woman does it, she’s slut-shamed.”
Standing up for the industry
The 38-year-old performer has also been vocal in defending adult work as a legitimate and empowering career choice. She recently responded to former star Lana Rhoades’ calls to ban porn entirely, saying her own experiences had been positive and fulfilling.
“For me, porn has been empowering,” White explained. “It’s given me control over my image, my body, and my creative voice.”
Angela White’s story (from an unexpected accident caused by laughter to surviving a dangerous medical emergency) shows just how unpredictable her job can be. Whether she’s handling a mishap with humor or speaking seriously about performer rights, White remains one of the adult industry’s most candid and influential voices.
