Britney Spears has been famed for her midriff since she exploded to stardom in the nineties, so it was only natural that she would clap back at the social media star who dissed her peasant blouse tops.
The 38-year-old addressed comedian Josh Ostrovsky, known professionally as The Fat Jewish, in a midriff-bearing top on Thursday, which she paired with low-rise shorts.
She captioned the clip where she silently walks up to the camera and poses: "This little clip is a message for @thefatjewish .... yes I do own a peasant midriff top for every day of the week !!!! [sic]"

Ostrovsky hasn't reacted to the clapback so it appears to be simply a fun response, especially he has previously spoken about being a Britney superfan and even appeared on stage with her back at her Vegas show in 2015, per People.
"I don't really [care] so much about celebrity stuff ... but Britney I care a lot about," he told Bravo in 2017. "She gave me tickets to the show and I was just like freaking out and fanboying so hard."

Alongside a backyard selfie in a peasant blouse, she wrote: "When I was younger I never really had an acne problem until I did my first movie … I was so nervous to be on camera so I went to the dermatologist for stronger skincare products !!! [sic]"
She said that while "it cleared up quickly" she wants others to be "careful because prescribed products are very strong !!!!"
The 'Toxic' hitmaker now gives "the sun credit for lifting my spirits and giving me a natural glow !!!!! [sic]"
