If you have spent any time on Twitter following the abominable events that occurred in Charlottesville last week, you will know there's a fair amount of chaos right now. Especially after Donald Trump's widely-criticised comments on the "alt-right" at a press conference in Trump Tower, where he remarked that "there is blame on both sides", people are getting more than riled up on social media.
One thing Twitter does is connect us to celebrities, where we can read and respond to their views on the world.
As you can imagine, many use the platform to make jokes, speak with fans and promote their work. Except in situations like this, in which they feel compelled to speak out against current affairs and issues such as the removal of Confederate statues, the appearance of white supremacists in Charlottesville and the president's inability to properly condemn them.
